While walking with friends on Mount Concord I came across two Wedge-Tailed Eagles feasting on a carcass. Watching them take flight as we walked around the corner was a truly magical experience and I was blessed to have experienced the grace with which they circled above.
Riding the warm air currents they were absolutely majestic, we could almost feel their disappointment at being so unceremoniously disturbed during their lunch and their eagerness to return to the feast below was evident as they soared above.
